Agree with previous review in that it is good for just an overnight stay. Lots of long term trailers on grounds but overnight section is in a field. The location is somewhat out of the way of major routes so we would probably not go back.
We are full timers and found this to be one of the best campgrounds we have ever used. However, we prefer smaller facilities over the big resorts. Sites are very large and well organized. Management makes an effort to separate the older crowd from families. Our only complaint is the number of local 4 wheelers speeding through the park at all hours of the day and night. We discussed this with management and they are trying to figure out a way to stop it but nothing has worked so far. I guess they are not as aggressive as I would be in attacking the problem. We would have rated it a 10 if it were not for that. All in all it is a great place to stay. Price listed reflects monthly rate.
As others have mentioned this is a nice place for a few nights but it is certainly no destination park. Owner was friendly and other than road noise it is a quiet place. We were making an overnight stop and this was just fine for that. My only concern was the tight corners on the roads making it somewhat tedious to snake or fiver to the correct spot. No big deal...just had to be careful.
This park is OK for an overnight stay but information available about it is either incorrect or misleading. Rate charged was $35. Some sites are nice but others, like the one we were assigned, are just a gravel parking lot with unusual site arrangement. Staff was not very helpful when we asked questions and we were told the manager would call us but never did. Additionally, the park is adjacent to a truck stop and noisy trucks ran all night. I would not stay here again at the rate charged even though, as mentioned earlier, it's OK or an overnight stop if you just want to get off the road and nothing else is available.
We thoroughly enjoyed this campground, and will plan to stay here again in the future. It appears the owner is either expanding or renovating many of the sites and they are all very nice if you enjoy "woodsy" type campgrounds. The 2 mile road has been resurfaced and is now smooth all the way. We used a pull thru site but the backins are plenty large enough to get into with no problem. We would rate this higher if the bath houses were a little newer. They were clean, but many parts were rusty from age.
Price listed was the average for a week's stay. It is a very quiet campground and nice place to stay while visiting Branson area. Sites are gravel but level. Roads are rough and need to be upgraded but it is not a major problem. The wwner is very accommodating.
As mentioned in prior reviews this is a small park that is good for an overnight stay. It was quiet with very little traffic. The Wi-fi worked just fine. Restaurants and fuel are nearby. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.
This is a very small park that is relatively new. They offer free wi-fi that works very well along with free laundry facilities. Sites are all gravel with very little grass. Pull-thru sites are available but some are difficult to negotiate because of trees and/or light poles. This park makes a good overnight stop but don't expect anything more than nice hookups with good internet connection. Passport price is what drew us here.
